This past week, I've gotten less hours of sleep than I have fingers to count with. My AP Art portfolio was due Friday afternoon, and I still had SO much I needed to complete. Friday morning, I had an AP US History exam to take, and my teacher warned me not to stay up all night. And what did I do? I got approximately 20 minutes of sleep the night before the exam because I was rushing to finish my portfolio on time. And did I even finish?? NOPE! I still had about 5 more pieces I needed to complete and turn in.
So I go and take my US exam which was off-site, and we had to be taken there by bus. The exam was actually surprisingly easy. I'm actually not legally allowed to speak of the questions, but I will say this: I felt much more confident about this than my AP European History exam last year. I might actually make a decent score on this one!!!
So after the exam, I feel fan-fucking-tastic, and they took us to a picnic we were supposed to attend. Approximately 12:30 at this point, and I had about two and a half hours to get back to school and finish my portfolio. I go explain my situation to the teachers, and one of them actually says to me, "I bet they've already mailed in everything for today and you're just too late!"
JERK! Well, my portfolio was submitted online. IN YOUR FACE!!!!
So we finally get back to school and I dash to the art room! And I just spend the afternoon running around like a headless rabbit, putting the finishing touches on my portfolio.
AND THEN!!!
I submitted it.
It's all over now.
It's done.
I'M FREE!!!!
My final AP exam for the year will be this Wednesday, and after that, I'm TRULY free (because, really, who cares about finals? PFFT!!)
So if I've seen dead on here the past few weeks/months, ALL OF THE ABOVE is why lol. Now that everything's mellowing out a bit, I'll have a lot more free time on my hands. This summer, I'm planning on working on some prints to sell so I can save up some money for college. So please keep an eye out for those.
That is all for now.
Terra out~
P.S. Happy Mother's Day
